Jaco Wasserfall has served as President of the Namibia Institute of Architects and has represented the Institute to the congress of numerous regional and international Architectural organizations. He has also served on the National Board of the Institute of South African Architects. Paul Munting is presently serving as a board member of the Namibia Institute of Architects.
Interaction with academic institutions in South Africa and elsewhere is deemed a vital component of continual professional development within the practice. Dr. Wasserfall regularly acts as external examiner (design and building technology) for final year students of architecture at the Universities of Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontein. He currently serves on the CAA Executive and has represented the CAA on several Visiting Boards, tasked with accreditation and validation of schools of architecture within the Commonwealth.
The most recent of these included the Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Nairobi and the Jomo Kenyatta University of Technology, Kenya.
